Ashlyn Willson, known by the mononym Ashe, is an American singer and songwriter. She went to Berklee College of Music, graduating in 2015.
She has lived in San Diego and talks about moving to Los Angeles. Ashe is signed to Mom+Pop; other artists on the label are Flume and Alina Baraz. Ashe put an e on her name to pay homage to Carole King. Artists she admires are Stevie Nicks, King, John Mayer, Justin Vernon, Bon Iver, and actress Diane Keaton. She has written a song for Demi Lovato, "You Don't Do It For Me Any More".
She started out singing demos in Nashville and producer Ben Phipps asked her to sing on a track.
She was nominated for a Juno Award in 2017 for her collaboration with Shaun Frank, Let You Get Away.
Ashe toured with Louis the Child, Lauv, and Whethan. Right to It was released in the fall of 2017. Louis the Child and Robby Hauldren perform on the song along with Ashe. She would also tour with Quinn XCII during his From Michigan with Love Tour, during which she also released her single "Moral of the Story".
On the 22nd June 2018, Ashe released her seven track debut EP; The Rabbit Hole. One of the songs from the EP, "Real Love", was featured on Spotify's 'New Music Friday' playlist.
On April 5, 2019, Ashe released second EP Moral of the Story: Chapter 1, which includes songs "Figured Out", "Bachelorette", "S****y Places, Pretty Faces", and "Moral of the Story".
While at Berklee she studied piano. Originally she is from San Jose, California. She has studied classical music.
